WHAT OUR HOUSEHOLDERS CAN EXPECT FROM
SUPPORTMATCH HOMESHARE

At Supportmatch Homeshare, we understand the needs and desires of our
Householders. We understand that having a live-in support system at home can make a huge difference to those living with mobility issues, loneliness, disability, or any other debilitating condition.

We make sure that our Homesharers have the experience, compassion and sensitivity required to provide excellent support and companionship.

Throughout the Homeshare process all our Householders will have an experienced Homeshare Coordinator assigned to them, who will provide tailored solutions and support that will make a real difference to Householders wishing to remain in their own homes and continue to live a fuller and more independent lifestyle.

Supportmatch Homeshare Coordinators present our Householders with carefully selected Homesharers according to individual needs, requirements and criteria. All our Homesharers must complete a rigorous assessment, screening and vetting process which examines their suitability to become one of our Homesharers.

Our dedicated team of Coordinators will provide ongoing support to both the Householder and the Homesharer throughout the entire Homeshare arrangement and are always on hand to guide, advise the Householder and Homesharer.

If you are a Householder and feel you would benefit from the Companionship, Support, Overnight presence and Security of a Homesharer, then Supportmatch Homeshare is a proven beneficial solution.

HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH HOMESHARE

It’s really simple, all you need to do is fill out our no-obligation online Householder or Homesharer application form, which just takes a few minutes.

If you prefer to have a chat with us before filling in an application then we very much welcome your call or email.

We are always ready to help you every step of the way.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS AND WHEN WILL THE ARRANGEMENT START

Following a review of your Application, as a Householder you are invited to discuss your specific needs in more detail with your Supportmatch Coordinator. Suitable Homeshare candidates are then introduced who match your needs, requirements, interests and personality criteria.

As a Homesharer you are assigned a Supportmatch Coordinator with whom you share your requirements, work or study commitments and general preferred living locations.

Homesharer candidates are introduced to available Householders if they are able to meet a Householders needs and requirements on several significant levels, criteria and characteristics.

Meetings between Householder and suitable Homesharers is arranged, initially this is usually a video conference followed by supervised in-person meetings so that both parties can get to know one another a little better.

Following those meetings and discussions, if both parties are happy and have made a decision to go ahead with the Homeshare arrangement, we then issue contracts that ensure both parties have peace of mind as to the agreed arrangement.
